G35x test drive before taking delivery of my 328xi

I test drove the 07 G35x this morning on the eve of my 328xi E90 being delivered this week....just had to know if I was making the right decision.

Here are my impressions:
Looks
G35>328 The G is very nice looking, slight edge
Engine Torque
G35>328 The G had some serious pull, very strong, I imagine the 335 is a much better comparison
Transmission
328>G35 The 328 was soooo smooth, the G...eehhh
Handling
328>G35 just didn't feel the road that well in the G
Comfort
328>>G35 couldn't wait to get out of the G, the seats S*CK, and the foot rest is a different depth than the pedal, soooo uncomfortable
Interior
328>>G35 when I got in the 328 I was so impressed with the simplicity and the appeal, the G looked like a complicated VCR. the iDrive wheel takes away the clatter that is the G's dash.
Cupholders
G35>328 this has been well documented already.
NAV
G35>328 slight advantage to the G because the interface is more intutive.
Back up Camera vs Parking Assist
G35>328 big advantage to G, the camera with the anticipated car path is one of the coolest features I've seen.
Back seat
328>G35, hit my head on the roof in the G, I'm only 5'-6"
Trunk
328>G35, the 6 disc changer shrinks the G's trunk
Tire and Tire Grip
G35>328 I'll take the non RFT's any day. the G stuck when cornered hard, the 328 squealed a bit.

OVERALL
328>>>>G35. The G35 is just plain uncomfortable, and it's well....very Japanese looking. Can't wait for my 328, the bachelor party is over.

lesson learned-be faithful to your bimmer
