heated seats wiring
ive now got a pair of heated seats i want to swop into my car. looking at the plugs on new and original seats they seem to have the same amount of connectors. is it likely that my none heated seats already have the wiring for the seats and the switches, bit confused as bmw show a loom in their retro fit heated seats kit any help much appreciated.

nope def not. I replaced my standard cloth seats with sport seats. These had lumbar support & the side inflates. Even though the sockets under the seat look the same. I found that i had to install 2 more wires & feed them into the back of the fuse box. I was lucky enough to see what the difference was when i viewed my friends car. He had lumbar support. Try n see if you can see the wiring with a car that has heated seats. Good luck
