March dealer incentive question

let's say you've negotiated the price down to 500 over invoice. can you then add the 2500 dealer incentive on top of that negotiated price to make it become 2000 below invoice?

Yes it is possible. It all depends on the dealer though and how desperate they want to get rid of the car. We just got a fully loaded 2010 328i at invoice plus the $2500 credit from BMWFS.

Therefore, we got our car $2,500 below invoice

I just got around 1500 below Edmund's invoice. You can try to get below 2500 below invoice, but it depends on how badly dealer is willing to negotiate.

Again, it is possible. All depends on the dealership. Therefore, shop around until you find a dealer that is willing to play ball.

As for us, we went to BMW of Dallas today and pulled a trigger on a loaded 328i. Worked with Mr Carter and he is by far the most professional and knowledgable BMW salesman we have ever dealt with. I highly recommend BMW of Dallas and Mr Carter for any members in the DFW area.

2010 AW 328
M Sport Package
Prem Package
Steptronic
Comfort Access
18 Wheels
Paddle Shift Steering Wheel
heated Front Seats
Xenon Headlights

Satellite Radio
Destination Charge

MSRP is $46,850.00
Negotiated: $3,125 off MSRP
BMWFS $2,500 credit rebate

Total cost: $41,255 (minus tax, title, registration, etc)

Nice job. This is very similar to the deal I got. My 328xi MSRP came out to $46,050, and after rebate and negotiating, my cost was $41, 045. The only thing I noticed was he took the $2500 off of the amount I was going to finance, and not the price before tax. He said he had to do that for tax reasons, I am not sure if that's a lie or not.
