Incredibly sad. He was a genius, a true visionary, the epitome of modesty. Great musician, unique person. I will sorely miss him. Just spent the past few hours re listening to all his albums. Made me feel like the first day I heard him 4 years ago when my Japanese penpal told me about him. I pretty much cried my eyes out. So tragic, my heart goes out to his family. For those of you who don't know Jun, become an avid listener because you will truly appreciate his art. I rarely cry for people, but this man is worthy of my tears and has gained my infinite respect as a producer and artist.

i feel you, dude. i've been devastated all day. he was truly an amazing artist. his music undoubtedly has changed my life and state of mind many times. his music will always have a profound impact on me. may he rest in peace

Damn... Just found out.

I was/am a huge fan of his tracks fr Samurai Champloo... Always got looks for listening to his instrumental tracks, and I always though his stuff was ahead of it's time.

Truely saddened by his passing
