need options!!

I am having long cranks occasionaly and I took my car to dealership... they said nothing was wrong and no codes were being thrown. We all know its the hpfp. So is there anything I can do? Maybe try and video long cranks?

Many report that lately long cranks are being solved with a software upgrade. Request the latest engine software update from your dealer first.

Give them the car for overnight. Let them do a cold start. If it has a long crank, they can test the fuel pump to see if that is an issue. Most likely, they will update your software and see if your fuel pump is on a recall. If you are lucky, they can give you a new #943 pump.

well I went to pick it up and they said when they tried to crank it up to bring it to the front it had a 12 second long crank. Lol Now they're updating the software and I have to pick it up tomorrow.

Bingo, some 36.x were getting long starts with no SES which an upgrade to 37.x seems to fix.
