Methanol for the Track? Shiv?

Is this possible? Or would we need 4gal tanks for a 30min session? I was originally looking forward to using meth as a way to keep IAT cool on the track but only recently came to the realization that a 1 gal tank would be consumed in under 10 mins. Shiv is the only solution a larger tank? in which case how would that work with your methonal setup? Are there larger tanks available?

do ypu plan on being WOT everytime you drive?
i dont think so....and if you want a bigger tank companies make 5 gallon tanks

You shouldn't have a problem with a 1 gallon tank lasting a whole session or more. Maybe just bring some extra meth/water mix with you so u can fill your tank up when it runs low.

5 gallon? That's a pretty big tank to be putting in the trunk.

how come the numbers im hearing about whether or not it will last a 30 min HPDE session are so varied? Btw, does the vishnu tank have any other size options?

wow if those were the problems.... about how big a tank i should get... just get a 2.5 gallon, you should be fine. you dont need to ask CANshiv about it.

I don't know. I wonder how many people have actually tested it on a track. On the typical road course, you're only under full load maybe 50% of the time once you factor in the usual hold ups (corners, braking zones, yellow flags, warm-up/cool-down laps, etc.) 1 gallon should be plenty. And if you run out, it's really okay. The firmware I'm releasing later this week will map accordingly to methanol flow (or lack thereof).

Snow Performance also sells a 7 gallons tank if the 2.5 gallon is not enough.

I feel like if you're going through 5 gallons of meth per session, you're going to need some pads and tires too.

7 gallon tank is more than enough to last anyone on a track session....If your one of those track junkies, just get two tanks...One for regular DD and when you goto the track strap on the 7 gallon tank!!!

Okay, i think i need some help here. Tried searching all over the place for info on the vishnu meth kit but i cant find anything. Can someone point me to it? Im just looking for details on the supplied pump, tank size and nozzle sizes. The vishnu site seems very limited in details.
