330D Misfire 30 seconds after cold start

As title says, 30 seconds after starting engine when cold, the revs drop and the engine sounds like it is running on only 3 or 4 cylinders. This is repeatable start after start. Once the engine has been revved a little, it idles OK and is OK until the next cold start. The 30 seconds after start is very repeatable.

Is this a glow plug issue ? or something else ? Anyone any Ideas ?

Sounds like duff injectors IMO.

No smoke at all, just runs rough. Once it is going OK though, it runs perfectly normal.

I am probably wrong in my guess of it being related to injectors then.

A diesel I had a while ago had a couple of injectors that were on their way out. Car would run a bit rough when cold started, hunt around idle, etc for 30 seconds or so.

There would be smoke though when it was doing this.
