Inspection Service on E92?
Hi, my E92 is 3 years old tomorrow, its only done 27k miles.
Its had 2 oil services from new , recently it flagged up that the 'statutory inspection' was due , when i took it in , the dealer read the key & told me that it was informing me that the MOT & not a service was due. Is this correct? , when do these low mileage Beemers need an inspection service / aircon regas etc? cheers |

There are date limits, but at the 3 year point all mine needed was MOT.
Oil service was only 8k behind though, and front brakes too, so I just got the lot done for peace of mine. Check "Service-info" on your stalk. You can see how much time everything has left in both miles and date.

Apart from oil changes / microfilter etc your car should have had its brake fluid changed at 2 years as this is compulsory regardless of mileage every 2 years. You should be able to check the remaining time / mileage for each service item with or without I drive. Oil / brakes / inspection service / microfilter / fluids etc.... Most are by mileage as calculated by the car or with a 'latest date' caveat. You won't re-gas aircon unless its peformance deteriorates. What are the readings from your car? |

On your point for service the dealer can print out a sheet which will list when all other items on your car is due for service mileage wise, i.e oil, brakes, vehicle inspection as it is condition based servicing. This is the experience from my vehicle and assume that all e92's are the same. |
