What would you do???

Here's the situation... I just bought an e90 335i about a week ago and I was suppose to get my wife an X3 this week. She was actually suppose to get her new car first since she has been driving the same one for 4 years and in that 4 years I have had 2 cars and a motorcyle, so it was her turn to get a new vehicle first. So, because of that I have been letting her drive my car until we get hers... Well, now she doesn't want a X3, she wants one of 2 things to happen... I keep my e90 335i which has sports pkg and a couple more options and get her an e90 335i that I found with navi, sports pkg, CAS and a few other options or she gets my e90 335i and I get an e92 335i with navi, sport wheels and aero pkg. So, my question is... Would you have 2 e90's in your garage or go with one e90 and one e92???

I'd go with one of each if I could...

I wouldn't mind that but it might look a little funny with my daughter in her car seat up front. LOL.

What exactly does the sports pkg add? The e92 has the sport wheels and aero pkg. Will the only difference be the steering wheel and seats? (I haven't seen the car yet, going to check it out tomorrow.)

You gotta do what you gotta do.

I'm not a fan of having the same or very similar cars. I like variety. At the very least I would go for one e90 one e92, however I would prefer the 3 and something none 3.

Diversify. Get a Porsche Cayman, or if you want another BMW get a Z4. It is nice to have variety in the garage and a pair of 335's isn't really variety (at least not in my garage).

I think it's kind of bullshit. She wanted an X3 and now the 335i which is quite a reversal. Get an 08 M3 just to one up her!

I'd get an infiniti FX50, or some other cool SUV. X3's are lame and having 2 cars with the same interior and same engine will get boring fast...maybe an X5??

I agree about getting something different, but if you're going to get another 335 then I would do the E92. +1 on the M3 though!

get the m3, and give her your 335i.

But seriously, i would definitely get the e92 just to have something different.

Well, on a serious note, I thought I can get by with the coupe and my 1 year old, but as he is getting heavier, it was getting increasingly difficult with the coupe. I don't know what your kid's age is, but if you need to assist her with getting in, e92 might not be the right car for you.

Get an E93; it's really easy to load the kids (if they're not fat) when the top is down.

Let her have the 335i, and get yourself a 335is. Just don't ever let her drive it, or you'll be driving the 335i before you know it!

For diversification, we are running an E90 and E92, the first being 330xi, the second 335i. It has worked quite well, except for a few minor problems common to the 3-series.
