Number Plate Attachment

I know many cars in the UK have their number plates attached with double sided tape. Does anybody know of any brand names that are commonly used?

I used Halfords exterior double sided sticky pads, but 3M are probably the best !

Thanks for the replies. Any idea how long the 3M tape lasts? Does it withstand the temperature swings from summer to winter?

i would say that the 3m stuff will last until you remove it (with difficulty) it holds my spoiler on no worries, the red one is stronger iirc...
