It was inevitable...
So the weather is getting really nice here in Alberta. I am planning to take my winters off and put on the summer wheels. The problem is I think I want new wheels. I haven't even used the OEM 286 style wheels that came with the car yet. I'm running through a couple of things in my head. Here are my wheel choices so far:
BBS CH F 18x8.5 ET35 225/40ZR18 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 ZP (Runflats) R 18x10 ET40 255/35ZR18 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 ZP (Runflats) Both the wheels and tires from Tirerack. Alufelgen SF-71 F 19x8.5 ET35 235/35ZR19 Continental ExtremeContact DW (Non RFT) R 19x9.5 ET35 265/30ZR19 Continental ExtremeContact DW (Non RFT) This option would probably mean I get the wheels from one place and tires from another. So my question is probably one anyone can answer (particularly Albertans) with the roads the way they are in Alberta (lots of damage) would I regret getting 19" wheels in terms of ride? Would the 18" with RFT tires be any better? Does anyone have any advice on which way to go? |

We can provide a tire package mounted and balanced if you need us to. We can source any tire available at Tirerack.com As far the ride, 19" non-RFT is a day and night difference from 18" RFTs. |
