I've lived accross the street from U of W for almost 10 years, and have seen my fair share of alcohol fueled stupidity. Alot of students are just plain inconsiderate asses that dont give a shit about others.

I wish the schools would stop letting in so many douchebags

Wow that's horrible. I remember when I was in highschool someone wrapped my old car in toilet paper, but that was no where near as bad as this.

That's engineering and mathematics my friend...not sure about the other faculties....you can't just assume it was students from Uwaterloo. The other "high school" across the street also exists...Wilred Laurier University....and yes I am Waterloo alumni.

You can't assume it was a student at all...although statistically it would be a good bet. Vandalism (esp. against personal property) is a gutless deed. To me it is an act of cowardly violence, displayed by the "shoot you in the back when you're unarmed on the ground" kind of person. Alcohol doesn't change or excuse that. On the other hand, we occasionally need to step back from our possessions and realize that it's just a thing that can generally be replaced - and not a personal injury to you or your family unless you mentally take it that way. Stuff happens. It could have been a tree branch, or hail storm.

If you witness this, just use your camera and report it to the police. I've done the confrontation thing more than once...and it's risky, even in Waterloo. (although I did get a Swiss Chalet gift card once for capturing kids hitting cars with rocks off a bridge
