Hello from Santa Barbara

About 6 years back when I bought my first bmw, a 95 e36 m3 I joined bimmerforums. I stayed on there up until i sold my next car, a '99 e36 estoril blue dinan m3. Once sold, I purchased an an e46 330i. I then joined e46 fanatics and had been on there since now. A few months ago my e46 was in a bad wreck: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthr...163&highlight=

From here, I started looking for a clean e90 330i for the right price. After about two months of searching I found an '06 e90 330i down in San Diego and I went down and bought it for $18,000. 62,400 miles, original owner, all dealer records. Other than window tint, its bone stock and I planning on keeping that way as i'll probably sell it in two years and get a 335i.

I look forward to using forum as a great resource for my e90.

btw - I was in SB last year on my way to LA from SF. Wife and I only stayed there one night but had an amazing time in SB. Great people, great scene. Really liked it a lot!

Yep, definitely plan on hardwiring my V1. Checked out the DIY and it doesn't look too bad. And I love the blacklines. Thats something I will probably be doing in the near future.

A friend gave me the euro plate and i decided to stick it on for a week to see if i'd like it. I've since removed it though. The ride looks way more clean without it.
