OCC (BSH) and Warranty

OK - new 335i owner -- CPO 07 with 6MT and Sport+
.
Love the way she drives and really want to lower the oil temps.
.
I am currenlty reviewing different oils and plan to use my BT to verify differences.
.
.
Question: Will the BSH Oil Catch Can lower temps & will it void my CPO warranty?
.
.
I am interested in MODS that will enhance RELIABLITY & Maintain Long Term performance. Yes I plan on following Mike Miller's OLD SCHOOL.
.
Your input is necessary as well as appreciated!!

No to both questions. Does the car have a factory OC?

OK - How to LOWER TEMPS?

I was thinking that less hot oil in the intercooler would help lower air temp and inturn lower overall oil temps.
.
.
Larger raidator & fan aka 335is without the ECU tweak.
.
.
Currently she runs at 240 deg with an 80 deg outside temp & 80mph highway crusie. I would like to see 230-235 max.

The oil accumulation in the IC is gradual and really wont effect engine temp. Its main detriment is to intake air cooling and heat transfer inside the IC.

You say it DOES have a factory OIL cooler or not?
Everything Im seeing from your profile and post seems to indicate you have a manual car with the sport package so it should have an OC.

Dont confuse the two. The IC is strictly for the intake charge.

On a different note, these things just run oil very hot. The turbos are close to the engine and the net effect is lots of oil temp. It really wont hurt. The oils can run 280 extended now with really no damage.

I have left my OCC in my car many times for routine service, no problems, no questions.

The BSH Competition Oil Catch Can kit is completely bolt on and is designed with one goal in mind - Keep your engine clean and healthy!

The purpose of a catch can system is to collect/vent the blowby vapors inherent as part of the combustion process. The factory setup sucks these oily vapors directly back into the engine exposing them to everything in their path.

In the short term getting these vapors out of the combustion path reduces knock retard by not allowing oil vapor to mix with the air fuel mixture. In addition the more free flowing lines allow the engine to rev easily giving a more responsive feel to the engine as a whole.

Over the long haul these untended to vapors will build up over the intake valves leading to a host of running issues and an expensive repair bill to fix. With a catch can installed you will save yourself from dealing with this hassle.

I've personally taken my car to the dealership many times with the OCC on the car for routine service as well as a HPFP failure without any problems!

YES - OIL COOLER with 04/07 build & SPORT

YES - I have an oil cooler. Thinking that the OCC would be a good mod.
.
.
Any other means to lower oil temps -- oil selection?, OCC?, water mixture, fan, radiator, intake ------ MODS that result in relaibility & if they also generate performance gains - a plus but not a requirement.
.
.
I will leave the performance number guys to their thing -- I will do mine.
.
I know there are a large number of expers here -- hope to hear their ideas.
.
.
Todays temps were running 240deg @ 86 outside temp -- running on hwy.

Just give me 5 less degrees -- PLEASE
