hi guys my cars going back in for some minor detailing work. However while it is in just wondering what the latest i drive software is so that i can get it updated while its at the dealer.

They won't upgrade it for free unless you report, or they find, a recognised fault on the car that calls for them to upgrade it.

You can pay £250 though and they'll do it for you then!!

If you do it they'll still want the car for 2 (or 3) days though.

I say if it ain't broke - leave it.

Hi Neetin

It was only updated approx 12-13 months ago to fix a mirror with a mind of its own and to cure the iDrive crashing (happended twice).

I'd probably agree with doughy

Hi guys basically i know the sales dude he lives on my street im hoping he can upgrade the software for free.Just annoying cause i specified this before delivery and they said when they did the service they updated it which i know they didnt hopefully they do this for free. no charage i checked the software yesterday and it wasnt the latest one.

Result car going in for free software update next week and cosmetic touch up and detailing all done for free under warrenty soo i am happy. will post any comment with regards to new software upgrade
