Is it possible for BMWNA to find out?

I had a JB3 in for a total of 3 days 4 weeks ago. I also own a BT and erased all codes and shadow codes. If my car needs to go in to the dealership for any reason, I'm wondering when the dealership calls in a rep from BMWNA to approve what work needs to be done, would the rep be able to pull up and see that I had a tune and void my warranty? I know this is highly unlikely, but my car gives the impression that I have a shitload of aftermarket parts on it and I believe the rep would try hard to screw me out of my warranty for any reason

Don't know about that man. But I thought the tune was easily removable and undetectable?

Either way, this is why I don't bother tampering with my engine. The most I would get done is maybe an aftermarket exhaust.

Clearing codes shouldn't matter, as soon as you drive it the codes should pop up again. Also the SA doesn't matter he/she is a paper pusher,
if the mechanic spots it you are screwed.

BMW performance package or Dinan tune eliminates this kind of worry. $1.5-$2K now is good insurance against $10K later. 3rd-party tunes are like walking a tightrope between 2 tall buildings. Pretty spectacular and exciting, but when you fall, you fall big time.

I am not an advocate of aftermarket tuning, although I am aware of the potential they have. Isn't worth the hassle, in my opinion.

I agree. ^ I actually seen a post complaining about leaky lifters and it appeared to be caused by his mod and then he wanted to lemon it!!!! People with mods shouldn't complain about engine/electric problems. Their mods might be causing it.

How so? Either you have aftermarket or you don't. How can a car give "the impression" of mods?

JB3 is undetectable when removed and shadow codes erased.

What exactly do you mean by the last 14 runs? The last 14 times I started up my car and drove?

Remove mods, scrub ECU with BT, and you're good to go.
