Who was the forum member I seen in Quebec at the Gumball 3000?
Said I would just make a thread in the off-topic forum becasue I would never remember your name.
And to everyone else, I did the full US/Canadian leg, Boston/Quebec/Toronto/New York City. I was crew for them and was just responsible for driving my crew from place to place, though I did help them out still after we got to each destination. Pics or it didn't happen you say???? Shitty picture at the airport in Bangor, Maine waiting for the owners to land as they are flying over after the European leg of the race: Edit 12/12/10: Here's another two crappy pictures plus some form member who spotted me in Toronto shooing my car. Have to agree on that, everyone there was extremely nice, though I did hear that Eve was a bitch. Can't wait to do it next year.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I'm surprised that not many people here ever asked any more questions about the Gumball.

I was going about 100 with a Lambo, Ferrari and an Aston, as we reached the top of the hill they all slowed down, well most of them did, somehow their radars caught it but mine didn't (V1). I passed a cop doing about 85-90 in a 65, but he was waiting for someone to go even faster. In Canada there were a shit ton of cops.. no joke sometimes 5 lined up, about every 3-5 miles (I was told but Maximillion and a few other people that we had to disclose the roads we were using) so there were alot. My crew members only got a few good shots of Gumballers getting pulled over in Canada and then one of me: Overall it was an amazing experience. I was shot after just a day of driving. But with 5 star hotels every night, free food and even my gas paid plus being able to sit in a Bugatti Veyron for 15 min, taking pictures and talking to my friends on my phone inside of it without anyone annoying me it was an experience I will never forget. A couple regrets thought, I slept too much (7 hours a night), didn't take enough videos or pictures, didn't take more free monster energy drinks and had the balls to introduce myself to some famous people... I was standing right near Tony Hawk in the hotel at 3am (he couldn't get in his room), sitting right near Eve and helped Xzibit jump his car... Just didn't want to bother them. Plus I was in the elevator with some Prince of some Arabic county (Didn't know that at the time). There's always the 2011 rally if I have the time but definitely the 2012 rally. Again though I thought more people would know about the Gumball 3000 then just few and want to know how things work. I know that MTL Bimmer must of been like WTF when he seen a car for e90post on it. Didn't read over it so I might of "dun goofed" with my grammar. |
