Ehhhhhhhhhh. We want #'s.
Theres currently 1 flash at home tuner. GIAC is also in the process of releasing something. This definitely isn't inexpensive. |

Wow, that's a high entry to market. Here's what the other flash at home is charging:
http://************/26qufgh I guess it really depends on how well defined the tune, hardware, and support really is. |

I think the big difference between the Cypheror and the DS is that the Cypheror comes with a tune so it is hard to compare the two hardware to hardware. Has anyone had any expereince with DynoComp tunes?
Also, I believe the Cypheror does data logging and DTC reading/clearing. |

So if this tool does log and read fault codes, then one would not need the BT tool? That would be a huge plus. I like the ability to flash back and forth from tune to stock and also be able to load different maps (100 octane, etc...)

So, we are supposed to trust them when they don't even know the engine designation?
The Amberg Cypheror device gives the client the ability to switch back and forth between their stock ROM and the custom tuned ROM on the MSD 80/81 ECU’s, found in the new BMW turbocharged M54 motors (

If they're not offering a parallel warranty like Dinan, that's a pretty high price for their unit. I like the way it works, though, and wish Dinan's worked this way. Be nice to be able to get emailed any updates, push them to your device, and then upload the new flash at your convenience at home.

It probably is a typo - and the web admin might not even be a company employee. But its still reflective of quality. I would be less likely pay someone several thousand dollars to paint a portrait who had a crappy paint job on his house - even if he did not paint it.
