meth is the second most important mod after the tune. you can run on higher maps (7/8) with it.

you don't really need FMIC if you have meth.

meth/water cools IAT way better than 120F hot air in any intercooler

yes, but meth only sprays at WOT.. I don't know about you.. but I don't WOT everywhere. An IC will help, during cruising speeds, highway trips... Stock IC sucks...

An FMIC with or without meth is a must in my book.

Wrong, meth sprays when you set it to spray (based on boost).
Mine starts to spray 25% at 8psi, and max at 12psi.

Yes, I have mine set to spray at 9psi.. but i still never spray at partial throttle. What is wrong with that? You could hold 9psi at part throttle if you're testing something. But why in the world would you be boosting 8psi at cruise?

My advice would be to pick mods you can remove in under and hour.

I spray based on boost, even at partial throttle.
why would you need cold air while cruising and not even boosting?

I'm not saying intercoolers are not good, but IMHO meth is more important and once you have meth you basically don't need FMIC b/c meth cools IAT WHEN needed.

most dealers dont give a shit about aftermarket fmics, but you'd better check with your dealer

If you're going to mod, and have a strong desire to do so, what your dealership does should be a minimal concern. The warranty you have in place is important and you should, of course, do everything in your power to retain it but don't have this hovering over your decisions. If so, just keep it stock until your warranty runs out.

I would say, DPs and an FMIC would be a good next step to allow your turbos to perform a little more efficiently. While many have said Meth is probably the most important after you tune, I'm waiting to do it last.

you should look into the CMGS or VC2. It will get you more power, cooler temps and all that fun stuff...Also since you have a Jb3 2.0 it will auto switch maps for you. The system has a pro-active map switching failsafe. The flow sensor will read the flow conditions and if there is an interruption in flow for any reason (pump dying, hardware failure, blocked line, etc) the cmgs will relay that info the JB3 and the Jb3 2.0 will change to a lower map. You setup the Jb3 2.0 software as to what map you want it to fall back on and the system does the rest. You can see the diagram below for integration with the Jb3 2.0. Oh yea...and the CMGS is a boost gauge too! Oh yes, Mike @ n54tuning has these in stock as well he is local to you.

Meth is a bit more advanced as bolt on like, DP, FMIC, are more bolt on and forget.'
I rarely see over 5psi with normal driving around town.
A good charge pipe like Stett and a good oil catch can are overlooked mods that are very important to have. So if you are going to go hard on the mods, look into these before everything else.

Exactly

/ thread LOL

In all honestly there is no right or wrong answer.

Probably feel the most gains with Meth over an intercooler.

DP VS meth is close.

IMO Meth goes farther then either of those mods as you can raise boost and keep cooler temps.

INtercooler can only cool so far as ambient temps play a role.

DP's well they are just a pain in the ass.
