Procede V3 vs. Procede v4
What are the main important differences. The most important one to me is code clearing... I have someone who is going to sell a V3 to me at a decent price but if I can't clear codes I don't want it. I'd rather go JB3/BT or Procede V4 and keep my warranty. I searched. Found nothing to distinguish the two.
Thanks guys.

Is the Procede unit the black plastic rev.I box or is it the new rev.II silver aluminium housing? Silver case has the Canbus/code clearing setup you are looking for but it will need the correct harness to give it full V4 Canbus compatibility.

Not sure. I know it has the seperate Procede unit... Here are the pics:
Edit: looks like Rev. I... He will sell it to me for $600. But if it doesn't have code clearing capabilities than I'd rather just get the JB3/BT or PV4

I would buy new or used Rev2 or JB3/BT combo.. last time I checked there were a few Rev.2s for sale used and a bunch of used JB3s.

Don't pay $600, people are selling them on the forums for around $150-200.... for $700ish you can get a Rev II Used.

If you have the Rev.2 V3 then all u need is to install the canbus wire to make it the same hardware as V4. That pic though is the old Procede..so that's different.

Pass on it. Get a RevII hardware unit. I gave my Rev I away to a local fellow enthusiast.
