Some cool features of IS350 (HID fog & LED DRL)
IS350 will offer HID projector fog lamp with built-in 16 high-intensity LED for daylight driving use. Pretty cool stuff.
In comparison with the halogen lamp, brightness of approximately 3 times approximately 40% economical electric power the projector type discharge fog lamp of feature. With the color which is close to solar light, regarding the circumstance whose such as thick fog sight is bad and rain high visibility is shown. In addition, in the day time running lamp, it is low consumed energy, the white LED which shoots the light of high brightness 16 uses. It informs about the existence of the our car to the pedestrian and other car with such as driving of daytime clearly, raises safety. Furthermore, these two functions, as the standard fog lamp by the fact that completely it incorporates in the same type, without changing the original styling, you could install and, when having lit up even, the high-class impression you made the design which drifts. Not sure if it will be officially offered by US Lexus but I'm sure you can get it easily (eBay or online stores). According to the description (thanks to Google translation), it is direct replacement with the original factory fog and it can be added by anyone. It will be so cool at night with the both HID fog and 16 LEDs on. 330i has cool angel eye and this is what Lexus counters with.
One thing is for sure. Since IS350 will be also sold in Japan as Lexus, there will be tons of aftermarket upgrade available for IS350, both cosmetic and performance, in Japan and eventually here too. Not trying to promote IS here. I like both 330i and IS350. Since IS350 will always be the main competitor to 330i, it is nice to know what IS offers... |

I hate to admit it, but with the bmw dealer here in town jacking me around I'm resigned to waiting until the first of the year to see what new comes out. I had high hopes for the IS350 as a possible option. But then I saw the ultra bland styling (I'll still go see it in person) and read the backseat was just as bad as the first gen IS. I don't get it? They had the GS platform to play with, did they think if they put in a decent rear seat that it'd leech sales from the GS? :dunno:
Guess it's moot, the e90 backseat is borderline for us with families (read: having a wife that insists on taking 10 changes of clothes for herself and the kid, plus every imaginable toy/stroller/backpack/crib on a weekend trip) so the IS is totally out. Does anyone under the age of 60 really buy the ES? Who actually spends that kind of change on a rebadged camry? (answer: my in-laws) |

to be honest the car is growing on me. The fact that the car is incredibly fast helps a lot too.... i think the e90 would look hot with some asian exaust (large on opposite sides like infiniti, acura, and lexus) RB

Ok just so you know that we are in a BMW forum and we talk about our E90. We do not talk about Lexus, They do have their own forum. How about sticking to the subject of BMW and leave the rest alone? I'm sure there are others that would agree. Not being mean, but take it as you see fit.

I say guess what, this is the off-topic lounge so members can shoot the sh*t about whatever they like. if you don't like it don't look at.
I wish BMW offered HID fog lights, that'd be tight as hell.
