PROcede V4 + Meth = 416whp 434wtq

We had our annual CCA dyno day up here in the Northwest at Carb Connection in Kirkland. Nice weather and great turnout! Thanks to the everyone who put this event together!

I ran three times today, each run gaining a bit more than the previous. My best run was 416whp and 434wtq STD (405whp and 422wtq SAE). Very satisfied with the results. Also, the timing curves are some of the best I've ever seen (14-14.5 deg at redline and rarely dropping below 10 deg), and the Aggression Value stayed at 0, so I think I could have easily pushed for more UT.

Only thing I noticed (and the dyno operator brought up) is the A/F. Does 13.5-14 seem high at peak torque? Seems like this could be brought down a bit to be safer. Or maybe it's fine; engine seems to be happy. Very consistent delivery.

Current relevant mods and settings:
* 08 E92 335i 6MT
* MSD81 w/Original 29.2
* Vishnu V4 5/15 Autotune
* No Meth - UT 55 - IC 40
* Meth - UT 75 - IC 0
* Vishnu DCI
* AR Catless DP
* Helix FMIC
* Vishnu Meth Kit
* Stock CP/DV
* 3/8-Tank Trick 101 Octane

Conditions:
* 77.23 deg F
* 30.08 in Hg
* 24% humidity

I've included the graphs and datalogs of all the runs below. Also check out the graph showing the power progression over time. Stock versus V3 Stage 1 versus V4 + meth. 136whp and 145wtq gain over stock!

Best Run - 416whp/434wtq STD

Best Run - 405whp/422wtq SAE

All 3 Runs - STD

All 3 Runs - SAE

Power Evolution - Stock vs V3 Stg 1 vs V4 Meth

Judging by the smoothness of those dyno curves and the excellent timing curve......that engine is very happy to be making that power!

Is aggression (debug byte 6) at 0 the whole time? lol.... if so, yes, you could have gone a lot more aggressive on boost pressure. Or just wait until the Procede adjusts it automatically

Good numbers. AFR looks spot on as well.

David (hun77777) was sitting in the car with me, and the whole time it was "MORE BOOST! MORE BOOST!" Too much of a vagina today I guess.

ericsmc83 - did you try playing with the user torque settings at all? You may be leaving a bit on the table. I'm running full catless and have it dialed to 100% and see to have room to push it even further.

lol... in most cases, succumbing to the "more boost" urging is a bad idea. But in the case of v4 autotune, you have a viewable parameter (debug byte 6/tune aggression) that basically tells you if you can run more boost/timing. And in your case, timing is already maxed out so you have no choice but to run more boost But I'm sure your car is already enjoyable as it is. And it's always good fun to leave room for improvement. It makes the next trip to the dyno more enjoyable!

20psi? Don't have the balls for that I'm afraid. But you're right in that there's more to give by the looks of things.

Truth. And I've literally only had this power for 2 days now, so I'm still getting used to it.

Hey Shiv...AFR logging with the Procede software seems to always show that it runs rich on my logs....I remember you said something in another post that this reading is not accurate and you need to read the front sensors...Is this true...I am always getting readings running really rich? Other than that the car is running superb.

BTW...Shiv...do you have a ETA when you will have the wiring instructions for nitrous and Procede integration??
