BMW dealers are notorious for varying their charges depending on how they feel, there are even differences between parts and labour charges within the same dealer group!
I was charged £125 inc vat by my nearest dealer (Williams Rochdale) but they started around £170 and it was only after having five regional dealers fighting off each other that I got it that low. Even now the price really galls me considering the microfilter is a £10 part that can be done within minutes by myself. Never again. |

replaced the micro filter and reset the service indicator, piss easy.
total cost £17.04 for filter from euro car parts. it was exactly the same as the one already in there. good to go for another 2 yrs. |

This is one of them. But the cheap ones dont have the activated charcoal to knock out smells Brake fluid is a job that absolutely ANY decent garage can do. |
