The "settlement is valued" at $750m

They had said that she would be getting the $80m house they were building on Jupiter Island as part of the deal.

I'm sure it isn't one lump sum either as it probobly takes into account child support and alamoney payments until the kids are 18, etc.

Divorce settlements like this make no sense. While I don't think she deserves to be destitute, I see no reason for her to get half of everything.

You know what's awesome... 99.9% of the time it'll never got the other way. Women always win in divorce situations. Very very very rarely do you ever hear of a dude taking his "rich wife" to the cleaners.

Take the average job... you go there everyday and they pay you for the time you're employed. When you are no longer employed by them, you don't get to take half of the worth of the company. That would be crazy because it was around before you got there and will be there after you leave. You are only paid for the time you were employed.

doubtful he has 1.5b....

they recently ranked him as surpassing 1 billion with his 10MM bonus from winning the fedex cup last year. One doesn't account for taxes/slut fees/and other expenses the man has had over the past 10 years.

Although he has prolly made savvy investment deals.....wonder if he's parked in treasuries right now..hahah...I sincerely doubt his actual net worth surpasses 1 Billion (including assets).

Def think he's up there or close prolly >750MM for sure....but 1.5B is a bit high...even for TW.

Huh I could've sworn I read somewhere he was well over $1b, and after the whole scandal thing. Maybe they were accruing his contract's net value, rather than just what he's earned against them at this present moment in time? Idk, could just be hallucinating as always

He's worth $1B with his PGA tour winnings and endorsements, golf course design, etc. Keep in mind, his career winnings on tour is only ~ $94M. He's worth well over $1B in assets for sure. I would say at the very most, Elin might get like $100M liquid, but even that's pushing it. The others are right, the $750M deal is probably spread out between assets and spousal/child support for the next 18 years.

Financially, it won't really hurt him, because in the end, he's still going to have his many multi-million dollar endorsements and contracts, then there is his insane skillz which will come together once more and win him another $100M.

I'm pretty sure if anything, the whole process is more psychologically damaging because elin will probably get full custody and move back to europe.
