by gaiter i mean the plastic base attaching the leather gaiter of the gear knob that clips into the console.
i thought all manual gaiters was the same fitment for coupes and saloons?? |

Check real oem for coupe and saloon versions of your car to see.

thanks for that.
so how come the guy i sold an m sport gear knob with gaitor via ebay is saying it doesnt fit his 2009 E92 with i drive and wants a refund!? |

Have you checked realoem for the exact year and model of the donor car and the recipient E92 in question? PDF the relevent pages to the buyer to show him they are the same part.
