Question HELP!!! deciding a trim

I am going to ship my car from germany so, the black high gloss trim is available for me... I am getting a jet black witha coral red interior. what do you guys think is suitable?

1) grey poplar
2) black high gloss
3) Aluminium

I am not a fan of grey poplar but I might be convinced by the sender's point amd may be if somebody in europe can send some photos of a red interior with a black hig gloss trim.

Thanks,

With Jet black, either grey poplar or black high gloss should so it. I would opt for the alu if your exterior is TiAg or similar. Personally, I would go for grey poplar for texture.

IMHO, black gloss would look beautiful from the factory but how will it look down the road? I've read aluminum scratches easily as well. That leaves...grey poplar. Selection by elimination.

i would go for the grey poplar, i think the aluminum and the black arent as classy as the wood trim, i dont really like the brown wood trim though, so its nice they have the gray stain

the whole black/black black/aluminum interior is getting way to common in most cars IMO

2) gray poplar
3) aluminum

in that order, since you are shipping from germany you will see very few cars here with black high gloss/piano black trim

I am getting coral red with gray poplar, but if piano black was available I would probably get that first

check out the interior thread in the picture forum, there are some pics of the piano black trim there

1) Black High Gloss (very cool looking)
2) Grey Poplar (still kinda nice)

And personally, i would not get the Aluminium trim, it is just far too common!

If you're shipping your ride to Cairo....that black piano trim, although nice, will blind you when the sun hits a certain angle. Had it in one of my previous BMWs. Alum trim is the way to go....even though it's "common." The gray poplar....has shades of pink when the sun hits it at another angle. If they had the gray poplar as advertised in the brochure and web, then I'd would have gone for it but after seeing it in real life...I had to go with the sure thing. Truly wish they had previous year selections like "Sea Black". Your call though. Bottom line; they all have their advantages.
