I just got new skis a few days ago so I am definitely looking forward to the upcoming season.

I also have a 2005 Subaru Outback for the winter, my 135i will stay clean in the garage.

I would highly suggest not to take the 135i into the rockies from nov-may... the weather can turn on you in a second, and if the 135i is as bad as the 335i in the snow... good luck!

the 135 and 335 will work great in the snow for you if you have proper snow tires on. My winter driver is an E34 530i, and that thing is excellent with the Dunlop wintersport M3s on it. With the summer tires on any car is useless when its gets cold out.

This is true. My 335i is my DD, I just throw snows on first part of November, take em off first part of march. Car does fine in about 6" or so of UNPLOWED road, thru plowed burms....I go around whatever I have to.

When its all nice and packed the 335i with snow tires IS BETTER then my previous nissan maxima was with just A/S tires.
