on 2nd thought...it may not be that great considering the district is more for walking around it...not driving...

Rolling shots FTW!!!

Otherwise, how about a cemetary? The one along Rosedale Valley Road is pretty nice... lots of trees and stuff, but it is patrolled by police cars.

I always like to go to the rooftop of the office building by East Beaver Creek and Leslie... however, they chained off the rooftop parking lot recently

ok, heres some..

abandoned boat and trailer lot provides a good backdrop
mccowan rd & 401

bmo field
lakeshore and princess blvd

old don jail
gerrard & broadview

abandoned whitby psych ward/hospital
700 gordon st., whitby

casa loma
1 austin terrace

i think these are the best places provided you go when there are no tourists, pedastrians, and then you can have good lighting...

bring a tripod. id suggest dawn that way you can work with hdr, b&w, and others

Watch the Distillery District

Those guys want big bucks for doing a shoot. This was taken from their website.

Private Photography Shoots: These consist of wedding photos, engagement photos, model portfolio head-shots, anniversary photos etcetera.

Permits are not needed for the day-out-with-the-family and touristy shots we all take. In fact, we encourage you to take pictures of your memorable experiences here and relive the memories!

When a photo permit is required, the fee is $183.75 including GST. The photography permit allows you to be photographed on the Distillery streets but not within any of the buildings or tenant spaces. You may choose the time frame that suits you best and we book appointments in 4-hour blocks. Please note, there are no interior spaces available or included with this type of permit and the fee is non refundable. However in the case of poor weather we do offer the opportunity to reschedule the shoot.
