Just installed injen intake...
Just installed this intake, ran the car for about 15 minutes.. Noticed the pipes are getting extremely hot.. (the right injen sticker glue melted off...). Is this normal?
I am not running a tune, just PE exhaust. And contrary to public belief, it feels slightly faster then with the stock air box. Impossible? |

Congrats on the new intake. I have been running mine for a couple thousand miles now and have not noticed any excessive heating of the pipes except for the expected under-hood heat after driving the car.
Improved throttle response might be what you're feeling (the sound also contributes to the butt dyno improvement I'd say) but I doubt it makes a big difference on untuned cars like ours. -Walter

Thanks Walter, its possible that I'm mistaking usual heat of running the car for what I may believe is too much heat, I was surprised to see that after 15 minutes of running the car the injen sticker was already peeling off.
