HPFP fail clear codes??

I have another post on here regarding this. I have a HPFP fail and bringing in my car for service the first time ever 08 335xi 14K. I am going to take out my JB3 and DCI before I go in. Ive read to clear the codes before I go in. i also read not to clear the codes before going in or they will not replace the fuel pump. Any advice?

do this,
1. take a video of the evidence, eg. long cranks, miss fires) 2. since you can't clear codes individually, clear codes and if your HPFP is that bad then it will throw code again but in case it doesn't, you have the evidence in form of video. make sure you film the VIN# too
