JB+ question re: the dial
Hi,
For a JB+, people seem to run ~ 50%, 75%, 100%. The dial has more settings than just these --- do they work correctly or should they be avoided? For example it looks like there is another 'notch' between 75% and 100%, etc. What is the recommendation for the bypass -- what is the setting on the dial where this becomes useful? I saw in a different thread that someone mentioned that the bypass isn't really useful if the dial is set to anything other than 100%. Thanks! |

What grade of gas you run matters most. If 91, then 75% is recommended max. If 93 or higher, you can go up to 100%.
I run 93 and have used the JB+ for 18 months (25k miles). I've played with 25% to 100% with thousands of miles at each setting. I think the sweet spot is right around 85%. Just ahead of the 3 o'clock mark (75%) and behind the 5 o'clock mark (100%). I have never done the bypass. |
