Extended Warranty or Not??
I have a 2007 335i Coupe with about 20K miles, and in November the original 50K Mile / 4 year warranty will run out. How many of you have extended yours? Any ideas on cost and coverage of extended warranties?
Thanks in advance. |

You can wait until the last hour to get it, I found out a month ago (used to be you had until 45 mos. or 45k, and had to be the original owner). But I was offered like 10% off so I just booked it. It was 7/100 Gold for $3490 list. I got a printout of the extension immediately, and then the same followed in the mail from BMW about a week later.
I just had a VANOS intake solenoid replaced and my mileage is 21k. There is no question things are going to be breaking very regularly on the N54, so I paid my 3 grand and now don't have to worry or even think about it anymore. I don't ever buy extended warranties, but made an exception for the 335. |
