New Sports Steering Wheel w/ Thumb Rests?

I read a thread last week describing and showing a new version of the sports package steering wheel w/ thumb rests. Has anyone have more info on this and will ALL customers receive this new version if e90 w/ sports package was built in Sept production? Does anyone have the new steering wheel w/ thumb rests that recently took delivery in the US?
