never heard of them.
you won't need a spring compressor assuming the front unit comes assembled. It's still a fair bit of work though. and you'll need a four wheel alignmet after, at least 100 quid. |

Personally I only really have experience of one aftermarket setup - Eibach Pro springs with Koni Yellow adjustable dampers. Setting the dampers to 1/4 - 1/2 turn from full soft provides a great balance between comfort and handling.
You could pick this combo up for £600. To be fair - installation and setup (corner balancing) for a set of coilovers would eat up at least 1/2 of your budget straight away. |

I spent about £3k on the last suspension tune.
And that was hardly 'high end' but worked okay for me on track days and road. Some things are just not possible on a budget. How about another solution, breakers for some M sport dampers with less miles and a set of H&R or Eibach springs? As for DIY, if you have a well equipped garage then id rate it as medium dificulty for the home mechanic. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=336355 Steve |
