I got the car back!

The day is finally here. I am now in possession of two very capable chras Its like a dream to me, like it cant be happening. Anyway, I thought I'd make a thread now to satiate the ravenous 'update?' people. I don't have a dyno yet, nor factual results. It just started raining as the car was being test driven so i didn't get a chance to really step on it. The car was overshooting the boost by a lot, we were seeing 26 pounds by less than 3 k revs. We had to dial down Future Use 1 in order to not overshoot the target. As traction became more of a problem, I did partial throttle tests and such to test the new babies out. I was more than impressed, the spool time is significantly decreased (spools faster), my guess is because of the ceramic bb chra not having to deal with water. And god, the spool sound is just to die for. Its so much louder than stock spool sounds. "Quuuueeeeessssssssss" is the sound i can best phonetically spell. I will make a new thread once i have hard figures (dynos) and more time with the car to give an actual review. I really hope some of the locals here hit me up... atm, i have the meth disabled, so im running the 16psi map now and it feels sooo much more powerful than the 15.7 psi stock turbo map i was running. once we get the m10 nozzle in there and connect a better meth control box to the procede i can run the 18 psi pump and 20 psi race map. if you guys would like, i can post the de-install/install/chra pics here, or i can wait until i have data and more time with the car.

these should satiate your appetite until i get the meth properly working and can run higher boost. no sense in recording results (dyno, vbox) when the car isnt in ultimate form. enjoy:

gotta stop faster than you can accelerate

New exhaust vid and update:

Hey guys, thought I'd update you guys on the progress so far. The car is running strong, still on the 16 psi/no meth set-up. The new m10 jet and new Labonte box come Tuesday. After those go on I can probably up the boost a couple psi because of the meth, and also now the procede will be able to read the flow rate because of the new box which outputs the right signal. The garrett cores for my new i/c should arrive near the end of this week or the next, say goodbye 130+F IAT's!

Anyway onto the thread topic, my new exhaust vid. I couldn't make it as detailed as my previous one as the road I used last time is now under construction. The exhaust system itself is the same as the old video, 1st gen riss catless dp's and aa dp-back exhaust. New mods since the old video include a cf trunk+hood and new rims/tires, a new chargepipe with tial BOV (had an AA chargepipe with their bov), asr closed-box intake (had afe dual cone), and of course asr's chra upgrade.

Here is my new exhaust vid:

Here is the old video for anyone who wants to compare:

And here are two vids I made on the ride back. 3rd gear pull (meth makes such a difference, i cant wait till tuesday, im guessing im at around 420-430wheel trq/hp at this point) and a crusing vid, i tried to pick up the turbo whistle on partial throttle but my old camera's shitty mic could pick it up from inside the cabin.
