WTB: E92 335i (or possible M3)
So the lease is up next month on my 5er. Anything out there for replacement? I'm thinking a used 335i or M3 (E92 for sure). I'd prefer a 6MT and non-xi, but I know those are pretty rare in these parts. If anyone comes across any leads, I would appreciate you posting them here.
Not a black car, please. lol

Awesome, hope you find something good. Either of those options would be excellent. I'll give ya a couple thoughts.
First, I have to agree with the thought on an M3. They are an excellent car and the refinement versus the 335 is quite obvious when you drive it. Second, the 335 is a great compromise as you are aware with the 535. The engine is excellent and the handling is great. It's a tough call. I would love to have an M3 but after driving one at this altitude, it would be very hard to give up the power the turbocharged motors have in the 335. I think you should definitely go drive an M3. Murray motors has 2 on their lot (new) and you could see if the'll let you take one out and feel for yourself. It's a total catch 22, power versus everything else. M3 has it all at sea level but up here they just aren't quite there due to the thin air. If you anre't too concerned about sheer power, M3 all the way... Good luck on your search and post back what you decide. |
