Does the new Mercedes C Class W204 looks better than the E90?

I reckon the C class looks more elegant and in a lot of respect trying very hard to compete with BMW 3 series. It surprisingly extended its wheelbase to the exact length of the e90 2760mm

More pics of new benz can be found at :
http://www.autospies.com/news/Spies-...overage-11791/

The headlight was straight from Holden Stateman released 2005:

it looks good, but not way better than the E92 or E90. Kinda looks like the new CL.

I think the looks lack in comparison to the W203s!

I wish MB kept their trademark double headlights, it was like the angel eyes or the kidneys on a BMW to me.

Who else thinks the rear looks like an evolution of the late 1990's Audi A4?

Although Mercedes owns Chrysler. Chrysler got Mercedes "old" platform but Mercedes always make new platform for its brand.
Except the A class which was adapted from Mitsubishi.

Yes I doubt the driving experience will as good as BMW. Maybe quieter and absorb bumps better because of no run flat tyres?

Not ugly, but boring, same old design, no breakthrough, no inspiring lines.

the car is hideious i'm sorry. People talk about how bad the bmw interiors are!! look at this POS they have in there, it looks like all plastic, cut some serious corners on this one and the c350 is going to have less power and be more expensive than a 335i? who has lost their minds now?

Interior looks cheap - light grey plastic - flimsy looking nav screen cover.

Front looks clumsy (especially the wide bars on the grille)

Looks like the curves from a jag x-type on the front wing and the rear wing of an old audi A4. Not very individual

Don't like the massive rear lights

Doesn't do it for me ...

It looks really bad. Im not just saying it to bash on MB, because I like a lot of their styling.

Their most recent stylings are dreadful, especially the new C-class...

Look is a subjective thing and is different between each person. But since you asked, here is my opinion.

exterior does not look good (in fact it looks like a slow clumsy new camry). Enterior wise, just like robin hood said, looks dull (could be the photo and the monochromatic interior grey color).

I like the current C class better, especially the headlights. I see MB has adopted the iDrive selector!

It's definitely a good looking car. I'm a bmw fan, but I honestly think that overall, mercedes has the edge in design. They just have good looking cars, CLS, SL....

The e92 and M division is another story though.
