Technical question on 325i

Hello
One for a tech expert...

Is my engine Direct Injection
Or is the fuel sprayed behind the inlet valve?

2005 325i E90

I think its a N52 engine. I tried to look it up, but I get conflicting answers...

Thanks

Confused LOL

You have an N52B25 engine, which is NOT direct injection:

Personally i wouldn't, shell Vpower or similar probably does just as good a job as fuel cleaner after a few tanks.
