First of the N54's now coming off warranty

The first N54 cars were the coupes and verts which started to be delivered around September of 2006. This means that we will now start hearing about cars that have HPFP problems but are no longer under factory warranty.

Unlike the US, BMW Canada has not officially extended the warranty on the fuel pump so I am curious to see how they handle repairs after the four year warranty expires.

If your HPFP goes and you are out of warranty, let us know how it goes.

actually, the first ones already went back in spring.

Warranty for HPFP has been extended to 10yr 200km in Canada.
