Wow this game is fun... its similar to MWF2 but its more close quarters combat best of all the language thats spoken by the Taliban is real... I can understand what they say, sorta helps me....

I think the graphics are a little bit better than MWF2 or maybe its just better colors? Anyways damn Taliban shoot nothing but RPGs or Dshk's.

Story begins at 9/11 and invasion of Afghanistan.

I noticed recoil with the AK or the sniper gun (50cal?)... I didnt notice any with the M4.

I like COD but more of a fan of BF. Is this a worthy addition to my library that's already full of shooters?
How's the multiplayer?

I just received the email notification fromm Gamefly yesterday saying it was shipped.

I'll decide from the rental whether or not to keep it. I played in the beta and I thought the game sucked. It had way too many problems, and I gave them a novel of them all in their survey afterwards. I wasnt going to give this game a 2nd chance until I read an article on Joystiq saying they did a major overhaul on the game, based on user feedback. So, I'm giving it another shot, but only as a rental.

So far I am enjoying it, but I have had some glitches and the reviews seem to be generally "meh" so I'm not sure what this will do for the MoH franchise. I think we all expected the world (another Call of Duty) and they just didn't deliver based on what everyone else is saying.

Cool game. Just started it last night. the targeting system seems a bit off in single player to me. I adjusted sensitivity but it is still not precise at all. In MP it seems better and the gameplay in MP seems better as well. I like it more than BFBC2 and almost as much as MW2. It is still weird with the amount of shadows and dark areas in certain maps to pin point enemies. Seems easier in MW2 to spot the enemy because of the contrast in colors I guess.

All in all it seems to be a solid game with some fun additions in singleplayer mode when it comes to air support

I've been reading reviews and can't make up my mind. Think I'm going to rent it first but this sounds promising:

Personally, I am a fan. I am on the single-player and it's been pretty good overall. I had one issue where a 'set piece' didn't load and I had to reload a level, but that is the only glitch to speak of. The only other thing is in one level one of my guys kept chucking grenades like a 12 year old girl with Cerebral Palsy effectively bouncing them off the wall right in front of him and then they would ricochet back at us. Other than that I am really enjoying it. I don't think the game is a '10' of course, but I think some of the reviews were a bit harsh. It makes me wonder if I am just not a picky gamer or of there are some reviewers out there that are biased toward the CoD franchise.

dont bother wasting money on rental then paying full price for the game new since you want to get it new to get the bonus maps that come with the game, and not have to pay for them later i xbox points. You will get adicted to the multiplayer, and to the level where you sit inthe mountains with dusty while he calls out targets for you to tag with your barret 50 and watch the heads explode and arms fly off

Color me happy when that happens. Nothin better than terrorists being blown apart.
