FEELER: FS Injen intake or for trade for AFE

Ok, since I wasn't able to find a trade I am trying to just sell my wrinkle black Injen intake with CARB legal sticker. One of the filters has couple of small nicks. The metal cup/braket for power steering container was not included when I purchased it, but I fabricated my own braket (marked red on the picture) to move power steering further aside. Still have the original box and install manuals. The intake includes everything except for that cup which if needed can be ordered separately from Injen. The grille scoop is also included, I just don't have it on the picture since I managed to keep the factory one.
Considering that used injen intakes get sold for around $300 on this board, I think $260 with missing cup/braket is a fair price. Looking for a local los angeles area sale for now.

EDIT: New price: $230

This trade is an awesome deal for the guy giving up the AFE DCI. Personally, I think the Injen kit is designed better due to the intakes not sitting atop or in close proximity of the hot motor, however arguably the charge air is going to pass through the intercooler any ways.

Regardless, why are you not using the air scoop/funnel that came with the kit? You will get more airflow... Just looking at your engine compartment the airflow to the intake seems somewhat restrictive and is not helping with air flow... looks like "asthma" on a hot day.

Use it before you lose it.

I don't know, for some reason I didn't see much of a benefit from the injen scoop when I installed it, and I got lazy to unscrew/replace more parts. But I agree that Injen design is better in terms of engine proximity and probably gets a little cooler air than other DCI.
However, I've tried many other intakes including AFE before, and to my taste AFE is the quietest out of all of them. I don't like that whoosh sound at WOT.

The only observation I can make is that the factory air scoop/funnel is getting blocked/restricted at filter #1. I didn't know there was a sound difference in the cone filters.

Good luck with the trade.
