Hi all, first post but now but have been poking around for a couple of weeks. Quick info: last car was a 2007 G35coupe also have a 350z and Ducati 1098. About two weeks ago a gave may G35 back to infiniti and bought my first BMW it's 2007, space grey 335I coupe 6mt, sport package with I drive, with coral red interior. Have to admit I didn't really want any type of grey but this one has grown on me. So i know this might already be to long for most but here is my impressions!
Styling - (B+) That is what kept me away from BMW for the most part, i Thought the were a little boring. Functional YES but FUN? in terms of styling NO! My grade was really a C + but i learned their is SOOOOO much out there for the car that you can really personalize it without it looking like cheap add ons. But my red interior with the mods i did, i would give an "A" THE DRIVE "A-" the car is really fun to drive,(better the the G35 and even my Z) and now with the mods i have done so far; EVEN BETTER. BUT sometimes it feels to EASY to drive, Not wild enough I want the M5 feel of snaping back in my seat, ohhh and that clutch delay BLAHHHH. but i am being picky. Car is great and i understand why BMW at least the 3 series has won so many awards. MODS SO FAR!! 1st and Best mod I think was the M3 soft leather steering wheel (feels and looks great) 2nd I changed my shifter knob to the E46 short one...WOW, Now thats how it should have come. 3rd - JB3 2.0 map 3, great great mod, But i guess i wanted even more wow factor (again think M5 in a 3 series skin..lol) I know i am Torque greedy. and last so far i changed the front grills to all black.. So enough about me; Tell me what I NEED TO DO NEXT (value for hard earned money) my intial thoughts are: RIMS, light tint, maybe Carbon or gloss wraped roof and mirrors and some sort of angel eye upgrade.. thanks for all the info E90POST members |

interesting comment. IMO, the styling of the E92 is 10x nicer than that of the G35/G37.
welcome.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new car.
To fix the clutch lag you can do a clutch delay valve delete. Very simple to do and makes a night and day difference. Best $25 mod or free if you do it yourself. |
