Am I the only one that thinks Acuras are ugly?

They keep running these commercials in central CA for the superior engineering of Acura etc. I don't care how well they are built. I cannot see anyone that has eye sight that would purchase one of these beaked monsters. They remind of the ill fated Pontiac Aztek from a couple of years back

No, 2 years ago we had 3 Acura's but we now have none. A Civic, but no Acura's. I will go back when they get it right.

Yup, you are right. they are ugly. I won't buy another until they fire the current designers and come out with new designs.

They looked decent in the 90's, but are now hideous indeed! I had the same reaction as you after seeing that commercial...

I'm turning my 08 tl s-type in on Monday. I liked the way it looked. One of the best looking stock wheels out until this new direction they took....

Yeah, you're the only one who thinks Acuras are ugly. It's not like they've been universally panned for their hideousness or anything.

Acura was ugly. Than Acuras were hot. Now they are ugly transformer looking beasts again. Maybe they can mate with those hideous Caddys. That sqaure box thing was cool wen came out years ago, but its overplayed and ugly now. Not to mention the SLR looks like a crushed shoebox.

yes the new Acuras are horrible looking.

I remember seeing the new TL in a commercial for the 1st time and I was disgusted, astonished actually.

The 2002-2005 Honda NSX is still a good looking car. All the other Hondas are ok at best. The new Honda MDX is nice.

I would be interested in seeing the models that had the recent facelift and the comparison in sales pre and post hideousness... I am willing to bet some people are on the chopping block at Acura/Honda.

I hate the floating grilles they're implementing. Along with pretty much everything else. The only time they look good are at night when they're coming towards you because their kick ass projectors prevent you from seeing the rest of the car

maybe its something like what bmw had with their e60s. When it first came out, reviewer's and car magazines bashed it but it grew on. I personally love how they look (i was too young to care back in 04).
I think the acura's might be ahead of their time.
