Mod 2: Finally installed Splitters

Hi,
finally installed splitters I got from JBSPEED with help from friends(thanks to Stuart and Christian in my DIY pictures for helping).

I have posted the full DIY done with pictures at link pasted below since came across a few extra issues that had to mention

Also added 2 more closeup pictures of the roof and trunk spoilers,
(Please excuse the image sizes)

Nice, subtle look that adds some aggression to the front bumper. How much did it set you back?

Also, you spend time blanking out your number plate for the other photos but you forgot to do it for photo No. 5

Thanks, yupz, realised that, was resizing and uploaded an unedited one, thanks for pointing that out though..not sure if I should bother blanking those plates at all
Is about 450USD for the splitters, trunk and roof spoiler since got them as a package deal...was quoted $250 per piece i.e. 750AUD to install all three at a good bodyshop so did a DIY instead.

You should invest in some fake plates. I'm thinking about it just to save time. Then again.. the euro style plate is something to be desired in the US so I feel like showing it off.

Also, others may take your fake plates or mess around with them, Jeef Beef will know what I'm talking about.

Yupz, that number plate blanking is a bit of a chore though wondering why we feel safe about doing that instead of just uploading as is ..the only things can think of is if someone elsewhere misuses the rego number but they have a whole boutique of numbers on the road to choose from anyway I guess.

I used to worry, but it is hard to put 2 + 2 together. Like, you see the car on the net with plates still shown. All you know is the plate and car. This info would only really help if you wanted something from that particular car, and having the numberplate could confirm it was THAT car when you locate it. That being said... if it was something like a set of BBS/Advans, then the car would be pretty obvious without knowing the plates anyway!

For peace of mind, block anyway. Doesn't hurt, but a fake plate will look better than some erasing in paint.

Oh and I saw an N XL --- the other day near Centennial park and thought it may be you. Then i noticed no front splitters so I guess it wasn't.
