OK so I went to the movies today and I park my car in the valet because on that movie theater they allways break-in or scratch the cars. so is "safe" in the valet so went I came back the car had 4.5 miles more :mad: ( I reset the spedo before leaving) I told them you race my car it have 4.5 more miles and they denied it!!!

my friend used to do that and he'd take them for test drives so i never gave him my car ever and i've lost trust in valets forever

That's what happens when you have a sweet car. Nobody ever did that to my Honda Accord.

The local place i know that does valet here actually parks like 20 foot from where u stop to get out and they take the car. and then they walk back and hand you the keys and a tag. i think thats how all valet should be. a designated lot and they park it for you in front of you and hand you back your keys. when u get back u hand them the keys and they bring it back for you. i have done this numerous times on my dates with my gf to the movies or dinner.

man... theres this BJ's resturant near my home city... and they always try to park 3 parks into two parking spaces for valet cause theres rarely enough room to fit the maximum capacity of people... sometimes you see those valet drivers accidentally hitting another car while opening the doors... i never get valet.

back in my mustang days i cought a guy taking my car for a joy ride. i made sure the kid was fired on the spot, the owner of the restaurant gave me my money back for the night and free diner for two. nothing was done to my car, but since then ive never let another valet touch any of my cars.

That is why I lease all of my cars now, every 2 or 3 years you get a new one, so you don't have to be paranoid, they are always under warrenty. Back when I used to buy all my cars I was always sketched out when people borrowed them or drove them.

valets love to mess w/ peoples cars. the more they think it'll bother you the more likely they are to do it. they're mostly punk kids.

The 2006 VW Jetta has a valet key. I believe the speed is limited to 40 MPH.

4.5 miles is a lot esp when most valet parking lots are only like 30 feet away from the valet shed.

I know that sucks, the manager was not there and they said that they did not take the car 4.5 miles! my friend told me about a valet key that they do for his Audi is like a little device that you plug in the obc port and you can select a 15, 20 or 40 mph valet limit he was going to get it but is like $200

and btw the movie theater is in front of the i75 and that 4.5 miles is enough to go from the exit to the other exit and come back :mad:

but like a said before at night is safer to park the car in the valet because the parking lot is really big and it does not have that much light and there is always kids and too much jealousy and like 2 years ago someone broke one of my windows of my old car with a BB gun and I have people telling me that they always key cars etc... so in this place is safer to park in valet

Muvico is one of the most popular and closer movie theater to my house. and his like huge the other movie theater is it sucks no one goes there
