Radio problem

hi i have a E90 325i with standard stereo but just recently the stereo keeps cutting out like the music stops then starts again, even if im playing a cd or have my iphone hooked up aswell at the radio... its becoming very annoying and wondering if anyone else has had a problem like this any help would be much appreciated

to dig up an old thread, this has just started happening to my 2005 130i it has the professional audio system.

And is very annoying.
