Another +1 for Darren Woods BMW

Just been to Woods again,

Dual Cone Intake fitted
Forge Diverters fitted
Strut brace back on (after i took it off before going to BMW)
Correct rear springs fitted (Birds B3.5 units) now spot on!
All systems checked and reset
Oh and an oil / filter change too.....

For the princely sum of £100 (my oil)

Quality chat about cars and "I'm a celebrity' included!

Birds are a larger more complete setup, i.e. parts / tuning / mods / reputation / service etc IMO, but they are over 200 miles away from home.

Woods are 2 really excellent ex-BMW mechanics in a small unit, but they are about 4 miles away and on the way to work

They really are the nuts...

I have 100'000% confidence in Mike and Darren.

Top guys, have always looked after me extremely well and treated my car as their own. As long as i have a BMW it will only ever see Darren Woods for servicing & mods.

Customers travel the length of the country for servicing with them. Very lucky to have em on my door step!!

Notice any difference with the DV'd and intake Mike?

That reminds me, really should get my brakes done, must give them a call to arrange. Would've been good to see your beast DB, shame, maybe next time - a mini-meet!!!

Nothing yet, pouring with rain and Stockport traffic put paid to any 'experiments' on the way to work. All the adaptations have been reset, so it'll take a while for me and the ECU to suss it out.

The filters sound nice, no chavvy wistling or wooshing which was my main concern.

With the bonnet open and a good clog of throttle-blip in neutral gets a nice little spool up sound in the higher rev range, but nothing noticeable from in the car.

No boost dump sound from the DVs is audible either - good!
