$2.959 for 93, baby! Fuel is 42 cents more per gallon than when I started my new job back in Aug.....

What's hilarious is I log everything in a mileage program for the droid. Every week the car uses 10.4 to 10.8 gal at my Fri. fillup, 22.4 to 22.8 mpg without fail. Now those are some reliable numbers as it spans nearly 3 mos.

Ah....the weekend. The 335 goes in the garage, and out comes the '98 Nissan!

My average is 27.6 MPG over a span of 4.5 years and 127,800 miles... Ah... the weekend. The 325 goes in the car port, and out comes the F-150 and a trip to the dump... Life is great!

Just sharing.

Very nice. You must have some highway driving to get those numbers. If I decided to reset the mpg computer and let her go for say 10 min., I'll see 31 mpg. But I just have so little occasion to be able to cruise on the highway for more than 10 min. at a time...

What funny about our mpg threads is that we all have the same car. There's really little reason for our mpgs to be any different, except for what conditions we're operating them under...

Not really. I drive 80 miles one way to work. About 50 miles is two-lane, beatutiful back-country roads with lots of curves and elevation changes (that I drive pretty hard on), then about 30 miles of RT 66 and RT 28 (Northern Virginia) stop and go traffic. I average about 48 MPH per tank (I love that metric the BC provides BTW). The 325i is great on gas mileage. This last tank; I filled up just last night, I averaged 28.6! I can't complain.

Agree with your last comment though.

Ah, young grasshopper, my boss' boss' boss ordered a GT MC Stradale (I guess business is better than expected although I've only been with the firm just under 3 mos.), and guess what? He was just mentioning that he paid over $3 gal. last week.

We visited relatives in Toronto in July, and you guys just had a new tax back then where harmonization shot the price up overnight, right??

1.59 Euros per Liter here in Europe for basic RON 95. Given that 1 gallon is 3.79 liters, and 1 Euro is 1.38 Dollars, I am paying $8.19 per gallon and about $125 to fill-up my 328i. Stop complaining...

That Euro price makes me cringe

Here in Cali where we can only get 91 octane prices never went under 3 bucks since the 150 a barrel oil , which I,m afraid we are headed back to.

I just filled my car up and it was $3.08 for 93 octane at shell.

Total cost for a full tank was $47

But like everyone says, you have to pay to play.
