2011 Stock Angel Eyes
So i've seen the newer bimmers with the white angel eyes that seems to be from the factory, and DAMN! are those OEM bulbs bright. So my question is are the new OEM bulbs plug and play on the older pre-lci models, and are they brighter than aftermarket led bulbs that are sold on the vendors.

MY E90 has a lower color temperature of Angel Eyes. I believe you are talking about the E92/E93? I have seen some new ones with whiter looking angel eyes.

Ive been wonderin for months now. I even posted this exact same question before. I have an LCI e92 as well and mine dont shine that bright! I was actualy beginning to think these might be specific for the adaptive headlights... do You have those? would the bulbs be interchangable between the LCI e92s ??

I like the color, but do not like the hot spots that are easily visible. Looks cheap.
BMW, should have done a better job making the rings have consistent light (brightness).

They are actually H8 bulbs with a HID charger....not LED on new 2011 models...LEDs are used for pre 2011 vehicles.

Its funny everyone here calls it angel eyes including myself. When I picked up my car in Germany the SA told me do you know what its called and I answered angel eyes but the CA its actually corona rings. And I think the CA said that the angel eyes was what we call eye lids. I don't know why ppl call them angel eyes. "Angels" doesnt really have rings around their eyes, maybe halo over the head Quote:
