bitch was working the street when she was 15? Parents need to start teaching their daughters about the kitchen earlier in life i guess.

Let's float the idea that "you can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you'll get what you need".
God does change people. Frequently those who are the most grateful are those who had sunk the lowest before he lifted them up. Those who don't need Jesus are far less likely to find him. Probably everyone here has heard that it is more difficult for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven than for a camel to go through the eye of a needle (that possibly meaning that the camel must be relieved of it's burden and crawl through the passage on it's knees). Is it so inconceivable that a troubled person would be grateful for a wrong that was done to them that ended up being a turning point for them? And she loves the child. If she had aborted the child, it would be dead and she would not have that joy. Last edited by scottwww; 12-14-2010 at 09:43 PM.. |

It's more a story of how a person in awful circumstance can be set right by one last awful event that directed a new path. I'll try an analogy: You had a horrible start to your day. Nothing went right. You didn't get enough sleep last night. You hit the snooze alarm too many times. You ran short on gasoline and had to stop to fill up on the way to the office. You were in such a hurry you were ticketed for speeding. All the traffic lights were against you. There was no parking where you normally were able to park, so you had to park much further away. You were nearly run over by a speeding car while walking to your office building... etc. And one last thing... you were mugged. Because you needed to have treatment for an injury suffered in the mugging, you were so late to the office that you were not in the World Trade Center tower when it was first struck. You thank God for giving you one last chance at life. Last edited by scottwww; 12-14-2010 at 11:37 PM.. |
